Throughout each year, the Society holds numerous social and business functions; all designed to give members the chance to meet, introduce their friends and guests to other members, and maintain their interest in Australia’s relationship with Japan.
For information of the various current events and activities, refer to our events calendar.
Special Events
In addition to our regular activities, at different times during each year the Society is involved in or notified of the staging of special events connected with Japan. Examples of such events are performances by visiting Japanese dancers, musicians and artists. If information about these events cannot be included in our monthly newsletter The Link, members and non-members alike can access relevant information through this website and our e-mailing list.
The e-mailing service is an ideal way to obtain information about Japan-related activities taking place in Melbourne. To receive email updates about forthcoming Society activities and other events, all you need do is subscribe to the Society Mailing List – this service is available free to all members of the public.
