Spring Sake Tasting Report

A lively group made their way to renowned Maedaya Izakaya on Bridge Rd Richmond to hear our resident Sake guy, Trevor Fleming present four different types of Nihonshu and enjoy beautifully matched dishes including Robbins Island Wagyu by Sake master and owner Toshi Maeda.

From a warmed Honjozo to a super-premium Daiginjo, an Aussie Nama Genshu to a Cowboy Yamahai, the group were wowed by the contrast in styles, aromas and flavours of Japan’s most famous beverage.
